Scheidies Partners with TriBike Transport in Multi-year Endorsement Deal
Los Angeles, CA Nov 17, 2009 - US Paralympic Blind Triathlete Aaron Scheidies captured his third title of the 2009 triathlon season by winning the Physically Challenged Division of the Foster Grant Ironman 70.3 World Championships held on November 14th in Clearwater, Florida. With more than 1800 international athletes competing in this half Ironman event, this remarkable athlete, guided by Matt Miller, founder of the C Different Foundation, finished the grueling course in a record setting time of 4:18:58, besting his goal of 4 hours and 20 minutes.

"I wasn't afraid to go at it today and give 100% to this race." Scheidies said, "I'm more of a short course kind of guy, but it seem like the stars were aligned today and I was able to take on this challenge and swim, run and ride with the best of them."

This race marked 27-year-old Scheidies third championship win of the season, with the first at the 2009 Accenture ParaTriathlon National Championships that coincided with the New York City Triathlon in July. Scheidies followed the NYC victory with a 1st place podium finish at the 2009 ITU Triathlon World Championships in Australia's Gold Coast.
